British Folk Review: Willie O’ Winsbury

In lieu of a proper post, I’m going to try something new. Namely, sharing a couple different versions of a folk song. This week, you get “Willie O’ Winsbury,” Child Ballad 100 (Roud 64). It’s a Scottish song that dates back at least the eve of the American Revolution according to Wikipedia.
